People Dancing is a consortium of modern dance artists, and the style of the company is fresh and eclectic.  Each performance event includes new and repertory dance works, satisfying physicality and a unique twist.  The company’s artists have been lauded in the press as: “ uncompromisingly assertive” in the their dancing, (1992), as possessing an “ethereal beauty” (2005) and for being extremely musical.  The whole company performs tight and captivating productions.

This not-for-profit company is overseen by a Board of Directors. Drawing from a wide array of talent and experience, the Board brings expertise in media, publicity, law, fundraising, production, art, history, music; and (of course) movement. It is through the influence of the Board and the direction of the Program Director that People Dancing brings its mission, vision and values into reality.
