"People Dancing is a fun group to work with. They are focused on
making a positive contribution and giving back to the community." - Heide B.
Behind the Scenes
People Dancing enjoys having the participation of many community members who contribute their skills, resources and their valuable time to help us bring lively art to the public.
We invite you to join with us in the exciting process of building our community up through the arts. Volunteers can participate in activities like: administration, creative planning, communication, fundraising, outreach, grants- research, multi-media presentations, and of course movement!
We are always looking for designers, photographers, writers and others in the creative arts. We invite submissions and ideas from collaborators. There is also the opportunity for compensation for your creative work, however, all folks involved, including performers, expect to contribute as volunteers as well.
Meeting new friends and exploring the creative process are benefits that make volunteering with People Dancing a fun and exciting opportunity for all age- groups. If you would like more information on volunteering, please take a moment to share your interests with us.
If you are under 18, you can be involved, but we will need your parent's or guardian's signature.
Please fill out the information below to volunteer your time and someone will contact you shortly! VOLUNTEER

Our Vision "
"Art is the signature of civilizations."
- Beverly Sills, Opera singer
Our Vision for the company is to enrich lives, expand shared values, and bring the joy and vibrancy of the arts to our local community.
We employ the arts to connect on a spiritual, somatic and intellectual level with friends, our fellow artists and audiences across the nation, and the world. We will cross cultural barriers within and outside the USA through artistic exchange.
We envision performance as having multiple layers of Value and Significance. Performance and invention in the arts serves us all by providing a mirror of our culture, an exploration of problems, challenges and paradigms, and a profound expression of imagination, creativity, and hope.
Dare to dream, dare to dance!
